“I found my love for backpacking in college and have been hiking all over the United States and New Zealand for the past few years. After completing the Pacific Crest trail in 2014, I became engrossed in the culture and lifestyle of hiking. I ventured on to hike the Appalachian Trail and the Te Araroa Trail the following year. Now as I gear up to hike the Continental Divide trail, I wanted to make all of this walking more meaningful, to not only me, but to those around me. As I walk, your support keeps me going through the hard times, knowing that I am doing this for a good reason. Alzheimer’s has affected many friends and family members and is one of the most devastating diseases I’ve seen someone go through. By donating, your funds go straight to the research surrounding this disease. Even if you are unable to donate, please help by getting the word out, sharing this page, or following along with my journey on my blog. I am truly grateful for your unending support!!!”
