Since 2021, I have organized and hosted an annual 12-hour charity livestream on my Twitch channel to raise money for CureAlz. Every year my community and I come together to help make a difference in the lives of people with Alzheimer’s.
I chose to support the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund because my mother passed away in 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. My father and I had taken on the responsibility of being her primary caregivers during that challenging time in our lives. Through that experience, I met a lot of incredible people who were also facing the same struggle. So I felt compelled to make a difference by helping others affected by this disease, including patients and caregivers. After becoming a Twitch streamer, I decided to use my platform to do what I could to help raise funds for CureAlz. I hope that, through our fundraising efforts, we can work towards preventing future generations from suffering from this devastating illness.
