My Dance Studio in Smithsburg, Maryland, has been in business for 19 years and strives to build confidence and character by teaching discipline and respect through learning the art form of dance. Lezlee, the studio director, decided to raise money for Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. Her dance students embraced the idea and held a bake sale and sandwich sale outside her studio in successive years. The group raised almost $1,800 for CureAlz researchers.
