Casey Cook leads the Comparative Pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic. Her lab is focused on identifying common pathological mechanisms across a spectrum of neurological disorders, specifically in tauopathy, proteinopathy and the role of oligodendrocyte lineage cells, a type of glial cell found in the central nervous system.
